Hello! It’s Jade here, I’ve been thinking about memories and noting down things I want to remember as a parent, and just in general, it reminded me of my years of blogging. I started blogging when I was 26 and grew my personal blog for 5 years, until I had a baby and my priorities changed!

I’ve recently been missing blogging about day to day life and adventures and so thought it was time to restart here!

Each Friday I’ll be sharing a little update from my life as a parent, hypnotherapist and beekeeper, to name some of my hats. I’m looking forward to the reflection of each week. It’s really easy to forget the little things, and this is a reminder for me to notice them more.

I feel like we’ve finally settled back into school here, it’s still a challenge to get everyone up in the morning, but with more light it will get easier (and we notice the sun rising a little earlier each day, like on my morning walk below).

To help with the dark mornings I’ve started waking the kids up before I go for a shower, which gives them a bit of time to come to before having to get up. I feel like with sleep it’s been a decade of trying different things, and even though the kids are sleeping through (finally), now it’s about getting them up and out in the morning, and as with getting them to sleep, it’s trying different things to make the mornings more easy.
