I’m back… …and with bells on!
Hello everyone! Thank you for being so kind and patient with me these past two years! What a blur!
As many of our lovely followers know we have had our beautiful third daughter Remy in August! I’ve certainly had my hands full this past while. I’m very proud of my older two, Cora and Keeley, as they have just been so strong and brave adjusting to the busy and chaotic life of a family of 5!
This is me now returning from my maternity break!
As well as teaching my antenatal hypnobirthing classes and breastfeeding workshops, I have also returned back to my previous post with the NHS. Some of you may remember I work as part of the Grampian Vaccination Team since the start of last year. I help and administer the various vaccines and work with the rapid response team at our vaccination clinic and in the community.
If you are rolling up your sleeves at Stonehaven give me a big wave next time you’re in!
Returning to work has certainly been a thought but I cannot praise my team at the clinic enough who have given me a warm welcome and so much support! And had it not been for Jade and Georgina at SONA Mum my face would certainly have been forgotten! They’ve kept the birthing world and lots of parents happy in my stead while I was hiding in my new-mum-bubble!
Also a big shout to my husband, David, who I currently don’t see often enough because we share childcare between each other while the other one works. David stays home to look after the children on his days off while I work and vice versa. We are a strong team and I couldn’t do this without him!
Watching our daughters grow and turn into these great personalities has been wonderful! Our Baby Remy has been growing beautifully, too, and I can’t wait to see what the coming year brings us all! I look forward to the warmer months again as it means I can spend more time on my road bike, too! Avid cyclist here and I have to do lots of training for my 100 Mile cycle at Ride London in May.
